How to Specify Settings for a Regulated Industry

Before you start a translation or create a translation project, you must select certain settings that allow you to work in the regulated industry workflow. Settings you specify in the Options dialog box are automatically applied when you open a document or create a new project. In addition to the settings needed for regulated industries, you can specify settings for file types, batch processing, AutoSuggest dictionaries, translation memories, termbases and automated translation providers.

1.     Select File > Options.
2.     Specify your usual settings that you want to use in this translation and future translations. For more detail, To translate for a regulated industry, change your settings so that you can work with files in Studio that have tracked changes in the source.
·         Select File Types > Microsoft Word 2007 – 2013 > Common from the navigation tree.
·         From the Track changes extraction mode drop-down list, select Display pending changes.
4.     Click OK to save your changes and close the Options dialog box.
