How to Edit Google Translate Connection Settings

Use the Edit Connection to Google Translate wizard to edit Google Translate connection settings. Google Translate uses an API key to enable this paid service. If no API key is listed for your Google Translate connection, this wizard will automatically display and prompt you for the API key. The API key is stored on your computer and not in the project settings. Therefore, if you open a package or move a project to another computer, you will need to enter this key again.

You may also want to edit these settings so that you can use a different Google account which has a different API key.
NOTE
The unpaid Google Translate service is now obsolete. If you have a project that has been using the unpaid service, you may be asked to enter an API key to enable the new paid service. If you do not enter an API key, the provider will be disabled.
1.     Choose where you want to edit the connection.
2.             Select Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Translation Memory and Automated Translation from the navigation tree.
3.             Select the Google Translate connection from the list and click Settings. The Edit Connection to Google Translate dialog box is displayed.
4.             Enter your API Key and click OK to save your settings.
NOTE
You can only use one API key at a time in Studio. If you add or change the API key in one project, the updated key will used for all other projects using Google Translate.
5.             If you have the Options or Project Settings dialog box open, click OK to close the dialog box.
