This topic describes how to specify Concordance Search Window options. There are four
display options for the Concordance Search window. They control:
·
The setting for automatically running the concordance search on
segments for which no translation memory match has been found.
·
The settings for displaying the field values associated with
translation units.
·
The color used to highlight the concordance search results.
·
The font size of the concordance search results.
To set Concordance Search window options:
1.
Select File > Options. The Options dialog box is
displayed.
2.
Select Editor > Concordance Search Window from the
navigation tree. The Concordance Search Window settings are displayed.
·
To automatically run the concordance search for the selected
segment when the translation memory search does not generate any results,
select the Perform search if the TM lookup returns no results option.
·
To change the color used to highlight matching text, select the
color from the list in the Search terms highlighting color check box.
·
To change the size of the text in the concordance results, select
the required font size from the drop-down menus.
·
To show non-default field values in the Concordance Search
window, select the Show translation unit field values check box. Field
values are values that are stored with a new translation when the translation
is added to a translation memory. Some field values contain default information
such as the date the translation was added and the name of the person who added
it. Default field values are always displayed in the bottom bar of the window.
Other field values are ones that you or your organization have defined. A
project code or cost code for example. If you choose to display these, they
appear in an extra column that is added to the window.
3.
Click OK to save the settings and close the Options
dialog box.
