When you have finish translating a single document, you can
generate a translated document in the original file format.
1.
Select File > Save Target As.
2.
The location to which the file will be generated defaults to the
same location where your source and bilingual documents are saved in your
project. If you want to change the location, select a different location from
the Save in drop-down list.
3.
If you want to change the name of the target document, enter a
different name in the File name box. This name automatically defaults to
the name of the original source document.
4.
If you want to choose a different encoding, select one from the Encoding
drop-down list.
5.
Click Save.
NOTE
·
Encoding settings for a document can be specified by the selected filter for that
document or in the Active Document Settings dialog box. The encoding settings specified
in the Active Document Settings dialog box are automatically selected
when you use the Save Target As option.
·
If your document contains tracked changes, those tracked changes
appear in the final translated document for Microsoft Word 2007-2013
documents (.docx). For all other file types, tracked changes will
automatically be accepted in your *sdlxliff document and then the final
document is generated.
